Marketing COIs – Centers of Influence
Marketing for centers of influence, these are people that can refer you people. Who knows a lot of people? Well people like police or fire or teachers where Mayors or store owners or anybody that knows a lot of people.
I’ll give you a for instance as an example colon I had a student of mine named Ray. He lives in a village like town, in Upstate New York. Ray hired me as his coach to run and plan and grow a We Buy Houses business.
Now Ray had a background in computer science engineering and also ran a dojo for karate and had a lot of children. Because of his background with children, we put together a plan to talk to the director of the boys club and Girls Club. The director was thrilled that Ray wanted to do some fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club.
The plan was to approach the small shops in town and have the shop owner agree to hang his We Buy Houses sign on their wall, and in return, if a sale resulted from that sign, and Ray profited with a house that was sold, Ray would donate $500 to the boys club in the name of the shop owner.
This is called Goodwill. Goodwill helps people feel good about what they’re doing. Anytime you’re helping children is a good thing.
So the center of influence that Ray had where the shop owners, and the Boys and Girls Club, and the parents of the children that went to the Boys and Girls Club. This is a way to grow a business that’s creative and Beyond the traditional mailings of marketing.
Now put your head together and figure out a way to get the word out about you helping homeowners sell and you helping tenants be homeowners.
