REIAs or Real Estate Investor Associations are a wonderful place to be if you are a brand new real estate investor or you are seasoned and been at it for a while.
Now I will say this: there are some wonderfully run organizations and then there are some poorly run organizations.
Most good ones will charge some kind of a fee for the year and this fee is just to rent the room. Many Association presidents it costs money to run the organization.
A great organization will bring in speakers that specialize in certain areas such as strategies or legal or tax.

One of my favorite reasons besides meeting nice people and real estate investing is to get joint venture partners and private lenders at the meeting.
