Do you know CraigsList.com?
Here is how to use it for Lease Purchase Assignments.
You may not know this but Craig’sList won’t allow to place multiple ads for the same property for sale at the same time.
Plus you can’t “repost” the same ad within 48 hours.
Here’s what to do.
Sign up on postlets.com – it’s free. Fill all the information for the property – at the end you can even pick your own “style” for the ad.
On that same page, you can post it to your Facebook and Twitter acct. and below that you “copy and paste” the code for your ad onto a blank CL ad.
Have you CraigsList account ready in another browser window. You still have to fill in the price, title and area on the top of the ad.
Next...After you finish posting that ad.
Go to Hotpads.com and follow the directions and do the same thing.
Also free.
Only thing about vflyer, you’re allowed 2 free ads, you’ll have to pay for more than 2 properties.
That’s 3 ads for the same property.
Then you go to craig’s list and post the property on your own with your own words.
- Make sure you always change the wording around on the title of your ads and even the location.
- E.g. I use – Cleveland State University Area, then on another CSU Area., then Cleveland State (with an intersection), etc.
- When you’re typing your own ad in CL and want to type new lines of text on the next line down, place
under the text line. Place 2
directly under each other if you want space between the lines.
Like this:

So that’s 4 ads for the same property.
As a suggestion, and so that Craig’s List doesn’t catch on, I’ll place 2 ads one day, spread them out during the day, and another 2 ads the next day, spread out during the day.
Then I delete and repost them every second day on a rotation basis – after each ad has been posted for 48 hours.
That is, Monday’s ads get reposted on Wed.
Tuesday’s ads on Thurs. etc.
It does take an effort to remember to do this everyday. Use a DayTimes or Tickler File.
